I wish the webinar series was open to everyone. I know I'm not one of the most talented writers (yet) but I want to improve.

The video says it's a program for "our highest rated writers", but the forum post says the writers are chosen by lottery. Just curious, which is correct?

Also, what does the program entail in terms of time commitment?

To Edgewyze: I would hope it's not only for "highest rated writers", because I would think the enrichment would be open mainly to writers who need to improve and not those already in the high rating status.

Egdewyze, I guess only the highest rated writers qualify to apply and a lottery is drawn out of these applicants only.

I read that in order to qualify, a writer needs to have submitted 50 articles. Besides that I guess one has to be a 'highly rated writer'. How does one become a 'highly rated writer'? I guess it is the score that editors give. But how much score should one have to qualify and are these the scores that writers have on their scorecard?

thanks

Hi Edgewyze,

By "highest rated," Steven is referring to those DS writers who are prolific (hence the 50+ article requirement) and involved with Demand Studios. He's not referring to the Scorecard.

Also, the program includes very little in terms of time. We still want to offer you the same flexibility you've come to know and love at DS. The one-on-ones and portfolio reviews are all on your own time, and the webinars are recorded (in case you can't make it to the "live" presentation).
