I’m Cicely Richard, and I have degrees in English and journalism from LSU. I’ve had a few freelance jobs at newspapers and a magazine. I’ve worked as a tutor since 2000, recently tutoring students with learning disabilities at the University of Arizona. I started working with Demand Studios in February 2009, primarily to supplement my work at the university. My husband lost his job, so I’ve been the primary breadwinner for a year. With Demand Studios, I’m able to write enough to cover monthly expenses and write about things I know. I can write with my feet up or in a coffee shop. Thanks Demand Studios.
