Though my concentration is in journalism, I've spent the past year and a half working in the field of broadcasting. When salary decreases and layoffs swept our station, I found myself working minimal hours. I discovered Demand Media Studios and now have the ability to earn money doing what I love. The flexibility has made it possible for me to devote more time to my family. It's an incredibly satisfying balance.
