Why Demand Media Works For Me
Ever wonder what it's like to work for Demand Studios? We checked in with our community of freelance creators—writers, copy editors, filmmakers and titlers—and asked them to share their experiences. Hundreds of people chimed in about why Demand Media works for them. Tune in daily to read their firsthand accounts.

My name is Lynette Hingle. I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism and have written for my local newspaper and various online outlets. I have also written promotional and sales materials for various companies. While I love writing and cannot imagine doing anything else for a living, it took me a long time to find the balance of love for my work, creative satisfaction and fair pay for my writing. I found Demand Studios last year and have finally found everything that I was looking for in a company—the flexibility to choose my own titles, work when I want to, be fairly paid for my efforts and be respected for my creative contributions—all while wearing my pajamas and never having to say the words, “I have to go to work.” I don't work; I write, and I love it.
