Demand Studios Rev Share Bonus and Contest!

Bonus - For every 10 rev share articles approved you get $50!

At the end of each month, we'll look to see how many rev share articles were accepted and for each increment of 10 we will pay you a lump sum of $50. So, if you have 20 approved articles in a month, at the end of the month you will receive $100.

Contest - The writers with the most approved revenue share articles between April 1 and June 30 will win:

1st Place – 13” MacBook

Will you post exactly how many articles we have currently? Will you post leading writers totals? Will you post a date each month where we are guaranteed reviews of our articles entered for a particular month? I write a lot of rev share articles but I won't enter the contest without some idea of what is needed to win. I write on difficult topics that are not subject to being written in 30 or 40 minutes. I don't want to fly blind but I would like a reasonable chance to win a kindle. Thank you.

Just out of curiosity how is this going to play out with approval times. For instance, I spent 12 hours writing 15 new revenue sharing articles. I would continue to write more and spend 18 hours a day just writing for the contest (I'm a work from home dad) however it could take a day, two, three, maybe a week for my articles to be approved, whereby another less motivated writer may get their articles by chance published more quickly and therefore be able to write more. Therefore my efforts are less rewarded and my chances of winning the contest go down. Any thoughts?

I am getting that Macbook. By the way does anyone know how to drive traffic to articles that were published but dont know where they're published at? Is there a button or banner we can place on website to drive readers to our articles?

I was just wondering if you will be publishing a 'leader board' (maybe top 10 contenders) for this contest so we can see where we stand in relation to everyone else.

If you have less than 10 approved in one month do those carry over to the following month for the $50?

Lynda, The answer to your question is YES they do carry over to the next month, the DS team answered that very question in the forum. So you can actually earn through the whole contest which is very nice :)

Monica, in response to your question, I created a portfolio page on my site that has my ehow articles listed and links to the page. I like the fact that people can see the topic and are not going to a generic site to find my articles.

I would also like more of an idea of what/who im up against. A running total of articles, a running total of people in the lead. Maybe a point system for harder to write articles. I would love to participate in the revenue shares program and contend for one of the prizes...(i want the mac! i already have a kindle and ipod touch..sorry tangent) ...the approval time scares me a bit too..what if i write the bulk of articles in the last week, and they don't get approved in time which rips me out of the competition? i need more feedback before i start with this. thanks -=)
