FYI: New Titles at New Prices

Posted by Admin | November 18, 2008 | Comments (6)

Hello Demand Studios writers,

In an ongoing commitment to provide you with titles at variable pricing, we have added 200 titles in the system with a $5 increase in the "About," "How Does," "Fact Sheet" and "How To" formats.

Please note that because of the price increase, we would prefer these titles to be completed by writers who have experience in the given topics.

These titles can be found under the categories, "Other 1" and "Other 2" and will not be published on eHow.

Guess they're already gone - or I can't see them - or they were never there in the first place. So confusing. You want decent content? Pay $15 for suggested articles but be selective on the approved topics. None of your writers know jack about Tercel Race Cars or how to build a jet airplane.

I was under the impression that these blogs were emailed to the writers. If so, I did not receive an email with this information and by the time I looked, there were not any topics for the $20 articles that I could write.

Dear DS, This is great thanks for the chance to earn some more money. Does this mean you will be extending more increased article offers like this in the future? DS is my main source of income and rely heavily off of my earnings here to make ends meet. Thank You!

Jeeze. They offer articles at $20 a pop and people still complain. Demand Studios literally can't win.

Is there anywhere that I can contact about a problem I have? I have just received a letter stating that I can no longer work for demand studios - but there was no reply-to. I was never told about anything I was doing wrong, never warned, and had no idea what was coming. This was one of my main sources of income, and if I can no longer work here, I really need to know why. It seems pretty unfair to me.

Mitch, I totally agree! I don't know how to build engines nor do I know how to build a motorcycle engine. Kevin, they offer articles at $20 that NO ONE has any expertise or background when it comes to the topics. I'm not going to spend hours researching a topic for a measly $20. Also, I don't feel comfortable writing about a topic that's out of my area of expertise anyway. I don't know what's going on with Demand (L's comments that she can't work for Demand anymore). L, have they accused you of plagiarism? They did that to me once in the past and it was their error. I would contact them asap and get to the bottom of it. The only topics I see right now are for $15 and they're all about cars and weird, obscure topics. I end up suggesting my own topics but I'm not even sure that it's even worth it at $5.
