I would definitely want to live in a musical genre. Singing in the Rain is one of my favorites. The idea of spontaneously erupting into song and dance could possibly solve many of the worlds problems! Just saying...

Fantasy! Then I could do anything I wanted, go anywhere I wanted, eat anything I wanted without getting fat, meet anyone I wanted, fix global warming, neutralize harmful radiation, prevent oil spills, stop people from hurting each other, and be able to do the tango.

My life has been a Drama, but a good one! I started college at 13 and finished at 16, moved to New York City to audition for Broadway, have supported the love of my life while he is deployed to Afghanistan, found out about 2 brothers I didn't know I had, and moved across the country to live on the beach in SoCal! I would love to have it be a "dramatic musical," though!

I would live in a comedy. A sense of humor is essential to survival, and my own offbeat sense of humor would thrive in the comedy genre.

I would live in a musical. The thought of everyone stopping whatever they are doing to sing and dance sounds wonderful.

I'm torn between a light-hearted Cary Grant genre like Bringing Up Baby or To Catch a Theif, the visually stunning Avatar or... and this would be my choice, Harry Potter. I want there to be magic happening right next door, just out of sight where one day I might glimpse it. I want owls, well kept by happy postal workers, to deliver my mail. I want to be able to send a Screamer and own a Rememberall. I want a Sorting Hat to look inside me and tell me who I was born to be. I want paintings of the dearly departed to still be able to share words with me. But most of all I want to be able to fly without some noisy plane surrounding me. And be able to fetch the remote without getting off the couch! Wingardium Leviosa! :)

I adore not knowing what to expect- knowing what is going to happen can tend to get boring, so living in a mystery/adventure, something like National Treasure would be the chocolate icing on the chocolate fudge cake. Life is one great adventure with a few mysteries tossed in along the way anyway, so why not turn it into a history searching, "bounty" hunting, chew your nails in anticipation, "that was awesome," lets do it again adventure. : )

I think it would be fun to have some super powers. I dream about flying all the time! I would like to be able to just fly around and fix problems, then move on. I think the Irish call it a Floater.

Fantasy so that I might be swept off my feet by a prince...

And a poem...
If my life were a movie
I’d cast me as myself
There’d be tragedy, comedy and drama (What else?)

I’d know how it ended (Bitter but sweet)
I could hire a double for death-defying feats
I’d use water as tears, never shedding my own.
The studio foots the bill for light, water and phone
Manicures, pedicures, spa days, oh my
I’d have a trainer to tackle my hips, butt and thighs
If I needed a break I’d call in with the flu.
But I wouldn’t too much or they’d get someone new
I’d be showered with love by my legions of fans
I’d have bloggers to blog me and writers to pen
The story of my life starring family and friends
A topic of interest, I’d be in the news
“Smile for the camera,” Free tickets and booze
Some stalkers for attention
A husband for money, a boyfriend for loving
And a house somewhere sunny

Yes, if my life were a movie
I’d cast me as myself
But since it is not
Can I be someone else?

I'd definitely live in a fantasy world if given the choice. I could build my world as I choose, and walk around in it wearing the most fabulous shoes, while eating ice cream and singing like no one was listening... tons of fun!
