Shall We Play a Game?

Shall We Play a Game?

Competitive? Let's see how your favorite books stand up against the rest. March Madness is full of brackets, games, wins and losses. Check out our Facebook DS Fanpage and cast your vote for our first ever Demand Studios Literary March Madness.

Here is how it works:

- We’ve picked 32 books in 4 regions (classic lit, contemporary lit, employee favs, NYT bestsellers).  Each book is set up in a ‘game’ vs another book in their region.

- Each round will remain open for a few days – during which you will vote for your favorite book.  The book with more votes in each game moves on to the next round.

- Ultimately one book will be named “BEST BOOK EVER”

Here is the voting schedule:
Round 1: March 18-22
Round 2: March 23-25
Round 3: March 26-29
Final Four: March 30-April 1
Championship Game: April 2-4

Love this. Great to see many of my favorites make the brackets. Here's a plug for two that didn't: Nick Hornby and Richard Ford.

This is a terrific idea; in fact, if you don't mind I'd love to borrow this idea for my English III and Brit Lit students. I think they'd have a lot of fun with it.
