Studio writer Laura Plummer was awarded the DMS Short Film grant back in May 2011. We are excited to announce that Laura has completed her short film and is ready to share it with the world! Her film, "According to Us" explores the lives of five girls from diverse neighborhoods in Boston, Massachusetts. These one-on-one interviews provide interesting insight into what it is like growing up female in today's world.

My 14-year old daughter loved this, and hopes you'll follow up and make another film with these girls when they're a few years older.
