Update on Available Titles

Update on Available Titles

Posted by Admin | December 17, 2008 | Comments (4)

Hello Writers!

We have noticed that some of you have expressed concern over the shortage of available titles in the Demand Studios tool. This situation has to do with us changing our title-production process, not an intention to scale back production. While we are adding hundreds of new titles almost every day, they are being claimed at a faster rate than we can currently keep up with during this change.

We wanted to confirm with all of you that our plans are to aggressively grow the number of assignments available at any given time. You are a prolific and high-quality team of writers and it is our goal to give you as much work as you can handle. Until this shift to the new process is complete, we are working hard this holiday season to add as many titles as possible.

We are gearing up for a huge 2009. The economy may be slumping, but there will be plenty of work available for our writers.

This is great news! I just wanted to say that the money I make from Demand Studios supports my family and has paid for Christmas this year. I lost my full time job last Spring and if it wasn't for DS my kids would have no presents under the tree. I am glad to hear I can depend on this as a good source of income for months to come. Have a Blessed Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!

@Julie: Where do you live? Because there is no way I could financially support myself on Demand alone (and I'm single and live in CA). Is Demand your only source of income? or does your husband also work? I'm just curious because at $5-$15/a pop for each article I don't know how anyone could sustain themselves just on Demand alone. Curious?

Hi Therese, I think the fact that you live in California makes it hard to believe someone can earn a living writing here. :-) I've never lived in CA but I've heard it's ridiculously expensive. I'm in the Midwest and the cost and quality of living here is great. I live in a capital city with great schools, homes, and entertainment. I don't exclusively write for DS but if I had to it would work.
