I enjoy sitting by the water, watching the boats pass by. The sound of a boat motor slowly creeping through the creek calms me.

Sailing--holding her close to the wind on a twenty mile reach on a mountain lake, adjusting her trim as she shoves one way or the other as the wind shifts ever so slightly in response to changes in the topography--hilltops blocking wind and breaks making wind tunnels--offering near-human movements side-to-side, ever so slight, but noticeable in the feel of her, like the tingle in your spine from a lover's touch or someone walking across your grave. Yeah, that's outdoor activity.
