Demand Media copy editors are paid weekly. Payment is $3.50 per article. Most editors average $20 to $25 per hour. There are also opportunities for advancement within the copy editing team.

The copyediting team is led by Richard Lally and Eve Lederman. Richard has written or collaborated on 19 books and has more than 25 years of publishing experience. Eve owns and operates the Manhattan Proofreaders' School and has provided individual and corporate training to more than 3,000 proofreaders.

Your Resume
We are looking for candidates with five years of demonstrated editing or copyediting experience with a newspaper, magazine or book publisher.
Once we've reviewed your resume, we'll ask you to complete a short copyediting test. Then you can start working right away.
